Medical Biller I

This role is based at TriHealth Norwood at 4685 Forest Avenue, Norwood, OH 45212. The schedule is full-time, day shift, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call commitment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely claim submission and follow up on no-response payer claims
• Handle payer rejections, correspondence, contract variances, and denial appeals
• Maintain proper account documentation in the billing system
• Respond to patient and third-party billing questions in a timely, professional manner
• Review, investigate, and resolve credit balances
• Participate in payer communication, team huddles, and information sharing
• Work with EPIC, Availity, and payer portals
• Maintain assigned work queues and produce quality work
• Meet productivity expectations and key performance indicators
• Decrease aging AR over 90 days according to department goals
