Epic Denials Management Operator

Join Deloitte's AI & Engineering practice to support hospital denials management and back-end revenue cycle management services for a healthcare provider client. This role is primarily remote, with minimal travel and scheduled onsite time as needed.

You will support review of denials received from third-party payers, conduct denial categorization and root cause analysis, review hospital account and payer remittance records, and communicate with internal stakeholders and payers to determine denial reasons. You will prepare appeal letters, rebill corrected claims, route issues to the appropriate teams, provide supporting documentation, and document all research and follow-up activities in EMR and patient accounting systems.

The role also includes reviewing AR aging reports and work queues, following up on open denials and appeals, and resolving issues related to eligibility, authorizations, claim edits, coordination of benefits, and missing documentation while working within Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and related systems.
