Join Deloitte's AI & Engineering practice to support hospital denials management and deliver back-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services, including billing and claims submission, A/R follow-up, denials management, payment posting, and credits and refunds, for a health care provider client.
This is a primarily remote role supporting enterprise Epic support, with minimal travel and scheduled onsite time as needed.
As an Epic Denials Management Operator, you will support review of denials received from third-party payers, perform denial categorization and root cause analysis, communicate with client and hospital stakeholders, and work payer portals and phone lines to resolve claim issues.
You will prepare and submit denial appeal letters, rebill corrected claims, route issues to coding, billing, credentialing, denials, and clinical teams, and document denial details and follow-up activities in EMR and patient accounting systems.
You will also review A/R aging reports and work queues, follow up on open denials and outstanding balances, and help resolve eligibility, authorization, claim edit, coordination of benefits, and missing documentation issues.
