Brellium builds AI-powered technology that helps healthcare providers deliver safer, higher-quality care by identifying clinical and compliance risks before they impact patients.
The team is looking for a certified medical coder to code and audit outpatient encounters and help shape how automated, human-in-the-loop coding works at scale. You will work alongside senior coders and collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure coding decisions are accurate, defensible, and aligned with payer expectations.
In this role, you will also contribute to QA, calibration sessions, training materials, and coding playbooks as the program grows.
- CPC-A or CPC certification from AAPC
- 2+ years of experience in medical coding or revenue cycle management
- Hands-on outpatient coding experience in behavioral health or psychiatry, including E/M level selection (MDM vs. time)
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment on documentation sufficiency
- Experience working with providers and other clinical stakeholders
- Preferred: additional credentials such as CPMA, CEMC, CFPC, CCC, CANPC, CCS-P, or CPB
- Preferred: experience training or calibrating other coders
- Preferred: experience with revenue cycle management and billing
