Ferny is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Medical Biller to support its Manhattan practices. This role focuses on accurate billing, coding, documentation, insurance authorizations, claims submission, payment posting, collections, and revenue cycle improvement across gynecology, fertility, reproductive endocrinology, and laboratory services.
The Senior Medical Biller will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to improve documentation quality, billing accuracy, reimbursement, and overall revenue-cycle performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least five years of medical billing experience in a medical office, specialty practice, or healthcare setting.
- Strong experience with insurance claims, authorizations, denials, appeals, accounts receivable, and collections.
- Knowledge of gynecology, fertility, reproductive endocrinology, and laboratory billing strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and medical and laboratory terminology.
- Medical Billing and Coding certification strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
