Medical scribes work alongside physicians to document patient visits in real time, helping maintain accurate records so providers can focus on patient care. You may be placed in outpatient offices or emergency departments based on schedule, interests, and location.
Schedules are available in both part-time and full-time formats, with shifts typically lasting 8 hours.
High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Proof of vaccinations may be required
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Fluent in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Flexible schedule availability
- Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day
- Access to a laptop for training
