Join Deloitte's AI & Engineering practice to support hospital denials management and back-end revenue cycle management services for a healthcare provider client. This primarily remote role supports enterprise Epic workflows with minimal travel and scheduled onsite time as needed.
As an Epic Denials Management Operator, you will support review of denials and related remittance activity, including categorization, root cause analysis, appeal preparation, claim rebilling, documentation, and follow-up with payers and internal stakeholders. You will work across Epic Resolute Hospital Billing, claims clearinghouse tools, payer portals, and other systems to help resolve unpaid and delayed claims, identify denial causes, and move claims toward adjudication.
You will also document denial research and follow-up activity, review AR aging reports and work queues, and collaborate with coding, billing, credentialing, denials, and clinical teams to resolve issues related to eligibility, authorizations, claim edits, coordination of benefits, and missing documentation.
Required
- 2+ years of experience in hospital account denial management and appeals
- Experience using Epic Resolute Hospital Billing
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working in claims clearinghouse systems
- Familiarity with Epic Analytics and Reporting applications
- Ability to travel 10% on average
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

- Experience supporting clinical or healthcare business operations
- Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams
