Prestige Staffing is seeking a remote Account Representative for a healthcare vendor supporting home health and hospice facilities. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with normal business hours Monday through Friday and some schedule flexibility. The role involves medical claims billing, insurance follow-up, and working with hospitals, insurance companies, and internal teams to resolve claim and payment issues.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3 years of experience with billing and insurance follow-up for medical claims in home health
- Hospice billing and insurance follow-up experience preferred
- 3 years of experience using Meditech, Allscripts, EPIC, or Cerner preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with insurance companies to determine claim payment status
- Experience working with clearinghouses
- Experience handling denied claims and follow-up
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage follow-up tasks effectively
- Ability to collaborate with clients and staff, maintain reports, spreadsheets, and databases
- Must have a quiet home workspace and high-speed internet
