Remote billing role supporting the Physician Services Revenue Integrity team at Lifepoint Health. This position focuses on revenue cycle operations, billing issue resolution, claim denials and rejections, and client account ownership across charges, payments, and accounts receivable metrics. The role collaborates with multiple departments to maintain billing accuracy, efficiency, compliance, and timely reporting.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of medical accounts receivable experience
- Athena experience strongly preferred
- ICD-10 and CPT knowledge
- Experience with medical billing software systems, PM/EHR software, Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Office
- Knowledge of full-cycle revenue model
- Ability to interpret documents, medical records, and other medical claims documentation
- Strong technical and computer skills
- Ability to identify and resolve workflow trends
- Behavioral health experience preferred
