Requirements & Qualifications
Experience and education:
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Professional Coder preferred, but not required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical and dental billing and collections practices preferred
Skills and qualifications:
- Bilingual preferred, but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients and providers
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with modern office practices
