The Billing Specialist provides accurate and timely revenue cycle and account management services to OCHIN Billing Services member clients. This role supports patient and clinic financial health by resolving claims issues, maintaining compliance with payer requirements, and contributing to continuous process improvement.
This position may include support for self-pay accounts, customer inquiries, and daily claims production activities such as printing, mailing, and preparing documentation for clean claim submission.

Qualifications
- Experience in billing and/or coding revenue cycle work preferred
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, MVA, Workers Comp, and private insurance billing and reimbursement processes preferred
- California billing experience highly preferred
- FQHC experience and knowledge preferred
- Medical Billing Certification from AAPC preferred
- For acute care hospital work, rural hospital experience is required
