This role is focused on rehab accounts receivable for a senior living and healthcare organization, with responsibility for billing, claim follow-up, denial management, appeals, and reimbursement support for rehabilitation services.
Qualifications
- High School / GED
- 1-3 years of experience
- Experience using NetHealth or a similar EMR system for monthly billing
- Experience working in a clearinghouse system such as Waystar for denial management and rejection status
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with healthcare billing regulations and coding guidelines
- Ability to communicate with insurance companies, providers, and patients
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
