Responsible for submitting claims and following up with insurance companies, collecting, posting, and managing account payments. This role supports patient billing, insurance AR, denied claim resolution, and provider credentialing in a dermatology practice setting.
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma required; AA degree or higher preferred.
- Accounts receivable and billing experience preferred
- Billing and coding certification is a plus
- Knowledge of computer programs, EMR systems, and clinical/billing terminology preferred
- Dermatology experience is a plus
- Ability to type at least 45 WPM
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA requirements
