The Billing Navigator supports patient account collections and billing operations for a community healthcare organization serving underserved populations. This role works closely with Community Health Workers to help ensure accurate and timely billing, reimbursement, and denial resolution so the clinic can maintain financial stability and continue providing care.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Two years of medical office reimbursement experience
- Knowledge of math and accounting concepts
- Familiarity with ICD-10; ICD-9 and CPT coding knowledge helpful
- Understanding of patient care processes preferred
