Bayview Physicians Group is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller / Payor Account Representative to join its outpatient multi-specialty medical group serving the Hampton Roads area. This role focuses on insurance claims follow-up, denial resolution, appeals, refunds, and supporting patients and staff with billing-related questions.

Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims
Resolve unpaid, denied, or rejected claims
File appeals and process refunds when appropriate
Assist patients with billing and insurance questions
Work claim edits, validations, and clearinghouse issues
Maintain confidentiality and compliance standards
Support team workflow and complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

Medical billing certification or at least 1 year of healthcare experience
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment
Knowledge of eCW EMR is a plus, but training is available
