Join ARStrat/GetixHealth as a Medical Billing and Collections Representative and help resolve patient accounts in a fast-paced healthcare revenue cycle environment.
You will manage delinquent medical accounts, support patients with payment arrangements, address account disputes, and work with insurance companies on re-billing and payment resolution. The role also includes skip tracing to locate missing payments and maintaining a professional, respectful approach when working with patients and colleagues.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of experience in call center or collections operations within a healthcare setting
- Working knowledge of insurance collections, including insurance verification and follow-up to help claims get paid
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet goals
- Experience with medical billing software is a plus
- Previous collections or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to handle more than 100 calls per day
- Spanish bilingual skills preferred
