1.0 FTE - Day Shift
Starting pay is $35.01 to $52.52 based on experience. External candidates are generally offered between the minimum and midpoint of the range, depending on experience.
At Olmsted Medical Center, employees who are employed at a 0.5 FTE or higher are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
This position supports coding management, denial management, reimbursement, and risk adjustment activities. The role works closely with patient account representatives, reimbursement staff, and business analysts to manage denials, insurance inquiries, and payer guideline updates.
- CPC or CCS certification required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy required
- ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and DRG coding experience required
- Experience with third-party payers, Medicare Parts A & B, and state-funded programs required
- Minimum of two years of healthcare experience required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Strong understanding of coding concepts
