The role handles incoming calls, follow-up and referral work queues, ticket scheduling, patient checkout, and follow-up appointment scheduling. It also supports care teams, provides cost estimates and itineraries, and ensures efficient patient care in a high-volume environment.
- 1 year of clinical healthcare experience
- Or 1 year of experience as a Patient Scheduler I
- Or 1 year of experience in a contact/call center
- Proficiency in entering data accurately into the electronic health record
- Ability to manage multiple scheduling service lines in a high-call, high-work-queue environment
