Sleep Health Referral Coordinator

Reliable Respiratory is a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company serving patients who need respiratory, diabetes, urology, and maternity support.

The Sleep Health Referral Coordinator supports the Sleep Health Referral team by maintaining efficiency, ensuring documentation compliance, and building strong relationships with key prescribers and referral sources.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Collect required clinical documentation, including prescriptions, sleep study reports, and clinical notes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key referring providers and prescribers.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, sleep specialists, and healthcare partners.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales for assigned accounts while maintaining customer service.
  • Process new and recurring orders via fax, phone, or email according to company procedures.
  • Handle incoming referral communications in a timely, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Verify insurance online or by phone and document information in the electronic health records system.
  • Verify patient demographics, insurance authorization, coverage, and benefit information.
  • Complete assigned worklists.
  • Follow company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service in all interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States without current or future work authorization sponsorship
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional computer experience, especially Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Ability to collaborate with others
  • Ability to prioritize work in a busy environment with interruptions
  • Ability to follow internal and industry guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills in high-intensity situations
  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency preferred
