This role supports the revenue cycle by reviewing patient care reports and related documentation to ensure medical necessity, level of service, ICD coding, mileage, and billing details are accurate. The position helps maintain timely and compliant claim submission in a remote environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of medical billing experience preferred
- Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) preferred
- Willingness to obtain QMC Biller Certification upon hire
- Ability to type 35 WPM
- Basic computer skills and ability to work across multiple programs
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality focus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to independently manage work in a remote setting
