Professional Credit | Ensource provides accounts receivable management services with two service lines: Professional Credit collections and Ensource, a provider of domestic medical coding and revenue cycle management services.
This is a remote position focused on inpatient rehabilitation facility coding. You will analyze medical records, operative reports, and physician notes, review IRF-PAI documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, determine the correct Impairment Group Code (IGC), and understand how coding impacts CMS reimbursement, Case-Mix Groups (CMGs), and payment.
The role requires collaboration with inpatient coders and managers to meet quality and productivity standards while maintaining active coding credentials and continuing education.
Active AHIMA or AAPC coding credentials are required.
- 2-3 years of Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) coding experience preferred
- Experience with IRF-PAI review and understanding of IGC and CMG methodologies preferred
- 3 years of ICD-10 PCS coding experience
- Access to high-speed internet and workstation
- Epic experience is a plus
- Must reside within the United States
