Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented medical biller and coder to join a healthcare team at a medical supply office. The role focuses on accurate medical coding, billing, and collections, with an emphasis on DME billing and supporting financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately code medical diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10 and CPT coding systems.
• Review patient records to ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify discrepancies in medical records.
• Maintain current knowledge of medical terminology, coding guidelines, and regulations.
• Process medical billing and collections efficiently to support timely payments.
• Use EMR and EHR systems to manage patient records and coding information.
• Assist with compliance efforts related to medical records and billing practices.
• Support audits of medical records for accuracy and completeness as needed.

Additional Details

• DME billing and collection experience is required.
• Work location is in person.
