This role supports the completion of claims to payers, electronic submission of billing data to insurance providers, denial resolution, reimbursement follow-up, payment posting, and account maintenance. The position also includes auditing and review duties, EMR documentation support, and assisting with front desk functions as needed.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of medical billing and coding experience
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Knowledge of Medicare and commercial insurance
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Professional communication skills with insurance companies and patients
- Ability to assist with physician credentialing, insurance verification, copays, deductibles, and authorizations as needed
- Athena EMR experience preferred
- Must be able to commute to Beaumont, TX 77706
- Must relocate before starting work if required
