Review complex clinical documentation and diagnostic results to accurately assign diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and applicable modifiers for services provided.
Work with insurance and government payers to obtain appropriate retroactive authorizations based on surgical services provided.
Comply with organizational policies related to quality assurance, remote work, productivity, and other applicable procedures.
Remote working options are available.

- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Or Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- One of the following certifications:
- Certified Coding Associate (CCA)
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC/CPC-A)
- Certified Outpatient Coder (COC/COC-A)
- Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC/CIC-A)
- Specialty certification as needed, such as Radiation Oncology Certified Coder (ROCC)
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma, medical office technology, or related background
- CPC or CCS-P certification
- Additional acceptable credentials include CPC, CPC-H, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT, or Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC/CCP as listed in posting)
- Copies of certification required
- Resume, cover letter, and verification of coding certificate required with application
