In this role, you will accurately code medical records, manage billing processes, and help ensure seamless revenue cycle management.
Your work will directly support insurance claim processing, medical collections, and the overall financial health of the practice. This position offers an opportunity to apply coding and billing expertise to improve patient care and optimize revenue flow.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical billing and coding within a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of ICD-10, ICD-9, CPT coding, and DRG classifications
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software used for revenue cycle management
- Knowledge of health insurance claim processing procedures and third-party payer requirements
- Strong grasp of medical terminology, medical records management, and coding guidelines for inpatient and outpatient services
- Prior experience working with health insurance companies for claim submissions and appeals is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to updates in coding standards and healthcare regulations
