Modern Family Medicine is a physician-owned primary care practice seeking an experienced Medical Billing, Coding & Revenue Cycle Specialist to support insurance verification, patient estimates and collections, medical coding, claims submission, prior authorizations, denial management, and revenue cycle operations.
This role begins as a part-time position on September 1, with an anticipated transition to full-time as patient volume grows. The position is in person and requires working at both the Duluth and Roswell offices.
Requirements & Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3 years of recent medical billing and coding experience
- Family Medicine or Primary Care experience
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS
- Experience with insurance verification
- Experience with prior authorizations
- Experience with revenue cycle management
- Experience with patient collections
- Experience with claim submission
- Experience with denial management
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation
Preferred
- CPC or CPB certification
- eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience
- Credentialing experience
- Knowledge of Medicare quality programs
- Bilingual in Spanish, Hindi, Gujarati, or Telugu
