A & T Mobility Inc. is seeking an experienced DME Rehab/Complex Rehab Technology Biller to join the team. This role focuses on processing rehab mobility equipment orders, billing DME and rehab claims, verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, and following claims through payment resolution. The position also requires working closely with therapists, physicians, ATPs, and insurance companies to support documentation and resolve billing issues.

Requirements & Qualifications

Required experience

Direct experience billing Complex Rehab Technology (CRT), including complex power/manual wheelchairs, custom seating, cushions, accessories, or repairs
2+ years of CRT billing experience required
2+ years of DME experience required
Experience handling DME claim denials and appeals from initial denial through resolution and payment

Knowledge and skills

Knowledge of HCPCS codes, modifiers, medical necessity documentation, and authorization requirements
In-depth knowledge of PPO, Medi-Cal, and Medicare billing
Experience with medical collection practices and payment dispute resolution
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to stay organized and manage a high-volume workload
Ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
