Spindel Eye Associates is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join the team. This role focuses on insurance payment posting, claim follow-up, denial management, and accurate charge entry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable communicating with both insurance companies and patients regarding billing questions. This is an in-person position.
Previous medical billing experience preferred.
Knowledge of insurance claims, EOBs, and payment posting.
Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred experience:
- Ophthalmology billing experience
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and billing systems
