We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will manage the billing process for medical services, ensure accurate and timely claim submission to health insurance providers, and support revenue cycle management. This position helps improve cash flow, maintain compliance, and enhance patient satisfaction.
You will prepare and submit healthcare claims, review medical records for coding and billing accuracy, follow up on unpaid or denied claims, verify insurance coverage and eligibility, maintain billing records, and collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve documentation or coding issues.
Experience in medical billing within a healthcare setting or medical office.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and coding systems including ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, and DRG classifications.
Familiarity with billing software and electronic health record systems.
Experience handling healthcare claims across multiple insurance providers and health plans.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of health insurance policies, medical collections procedures, and compliance standards related to medical billing.
