We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Biller to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical billing and insurance claims, with NextGen EMR/Practice Management experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Post insurance and patient payments accurately
- Work denied and rejected claims to ensure timely reimbursement
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status
- Maintain accurate patient billing records
- Assist patients with billing questions and payment inquiries
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Previous medical billing experience required
- Experience with NextGen software preferred
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding is a plus
- Familiarity with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid billing
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
