Crossroads Treatment Centers provides evidence-based medication assisted treatment (MAT) for patients with opioid use disorder. The organization operates outpatient, office-based clinics across multiple states and is focused on improving access to treatment and supporting recovery.
This role supports buy and bill pharmacy billing and authorization workflows, including verifying benefits, obtaining authorizations, submitting claims, tracking denials, and resolving reimbursement issues. The position also involves communicating with payers, interpreting clinical guidelines, and preparing appeal documentation when needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2–3 years of accounts receivable experience in a physician office setting
- Prior buy and bill experience preferred
- General knowledge of HCPCS, CPT-4, ICD-10 coding, and/or medical terminology
- Familiarity with payer requirements and claims processing regulations
- Ability to interpret payer clinical guidelines and contract variances
- Experience with third-party billing requirements for federal, state, and commercial/managed care payers
- High school diploma or GED
