Contract remote role for a Patient Support Medical Billing Representative at IQVIA.
You will support patients by processing medical claims, reviewing documentation, and determining whether claims should be approved or rejected based on program rules. The role includes helping with co-pay cards, vouchers, and other payment assistance solutions.
This is a 100% remote, home-based position with a 40-hour workweek and moderate supervision.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical billing program, medical billing degree, or certified medical billing license
- Experience in claim processing
- Ability to interpret EOBs
- Insurance verification experience
- Experience with payment postings
- Call center or customer service experience (inbound/outbound)
- Revenue cycle experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) preferred
- Experience with secondary and tertiary billing preferred
- Familiarity with complex insurance scenarios preferred
- Experience with multi-layered billing processes preferred
