PRN Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) and its family of brands is seeking a detail-oriented Follow Up Representative to support revenue cycle operations from home.
This role is responsible for payor follow-up across multiple payor types, helping ensure timely payment of open claims and resolution of outstanding account balances. The position works closely with clinics, patients, insurance companies, and internal departments to address billing issues, denials, appeals, and follow-up queue items.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ year of prior medical accounts receivable or collections experience preferred
- Understanding of medical claims processing
- Experience with insurance systems
- Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations, including state and federal billing and collections requirements
- Ability to understand claim denials and rejections
- Ability to read an Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
