This position is for an experienced medical biller to support the growing demands of the business in an in-person office setting.
Requirements & Qualifications
Key responsibilities
- Submit claims in a timely manner
- Appeal denied claims and troubleshoot billing issues
- Post payments from various insurance companies
- Collect payments from clients as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with billing in a community mental health center preferred
- Knowledge of psychiatric office billing, including H-codes
- Medical billing experience: 1 year required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
