This role supports billing operations for infusion services in a patient-centered environment where billing is viewed as part of patient care. The position helps ensure accurate reimbursement, reduces financial stress for patients, and contributes to continuous process improvement across the revenue cycle.
What You'll Do
- Submit and manage claims for biologic infusions and other services
- Post payments, reconcile patient accounts, and interpret EOBs
- Resolve denials and unpaid claims with precision and urgency
- Collaborate with intake, clinical, and supervisory teams
- Communicate with insurance companies and patients professionally and empathetically
- Identify process gaps and help improve workflows
- Share knowledge openly and support team learning
What You Bring
- 5+ years of medical billing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Working knowledge of EHR/EMR systems, clearinghouses, and payment workflows
- Understanding of specialty billing and biologic reimbursement
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn and teach
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with infusion billing or AMD platforms
- Coding certifications such as CPC, CCA, or CCS
- Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills
- Familiarity with specialty pharmacy workflows
