Lifetime Family Medicine LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder & Biller to support a patient-focused family medicine practice in Gainesville, VA. This is an in-office, part-time position with a flexible schedule.
The role focuses on accurate coding, clean claim submission, denial follow-up, payment posting, and insurance verification to help ensure timely reimbursement and smooth revenue cycle operations for the practice.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of medical coding and billing experience in a family medicine practice
- Proficiency with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Familiarity with EHR/practice management software, preferably athenahealth
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing requirements
- CPC, CCS, or equivalent medical coding certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
