Express Rx is seeking an experienced medical biller with a strong background in durable medical equipment (DME), medical supplies, and healthcare insurance billing.
This role involves billing a variety of payers, managing claims, resolving denials, and supporting the reimbursement process for DME and medical supply services.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 1+ years of medical billing experience
- 1+ years of DME and medical supplies billing experience preferred
- Experience billing Medicare, Medi-Cal, commercial insurance, and managed care plans
- Strong knowledge of DME billing guidelines, HCPCS codes, modifiers, documentation requirements, and medical necessity
- Ability to submit electronic claims, resolve denials, process appeals, and follow up on unpaid claims
- Experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, eligibility, and explanation of benefits (EOBs)
- Familiarity with payer portals and claim status inquiries
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Recent DME and medical supplies billing experience required
