Join Cooperative Home Care as a part-time medical biller focused on Medicaid billing. In this role, you will prepare and submit healthcare claims, follow up on denied or unpaid claims, post payments, resolve billing discrepancies, and support accurate billing operations. The position begins with in-person training, with potential remote work after successful completion of training.

Requirements & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of medical billing, insurance claims, payment posting, EOBs, denials, and payer requirements preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to identify discrepancies and ensure information is accurate and complete
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and company information
Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
