Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims using billing software, EMR, and EHR systems
- Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims by communicating with insurance companies and resolving discrepancies
- Maintain detailed records of billing activities, payments received, and outstanding balances
- Verify patient insurance coverage and explain benefits or billing questions to patients
- Ensure compliance with healthcare claims management regulations and medical coding standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation requirements and improve coding accuracy
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or healthcare claims management with a solid understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and health insurance policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using billing software, EMR/EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of healthcare claims processes and medical collection procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Prior experience working in a medical office environment is preferred
- 2 years of medical billing experience required
- Vietnamese language required
