Position
Accounts Receivable Biller for skilled nursing facilities, with responsibility for managing billing across multiple facilities and payers.
Responsibilities
- Bill for skilled nursing facilities in Wisconsin
- Manage multiple facilities and multiple payers
- Post cash
- Assist with resident billing issues and private pay refunds
- Enter and maintain individual resident ancillary charges and services
- Attend AR meetings and triple check reviews
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary, financial, and resident information
- Respect office records and restricted information
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Wisconsin skilled nursing billing experience
- Experience with Medicaid, Managed Medicaid, and Managed Care
- Medicare experience is a plus
- Proficiency with PCC
- Proficiency with Inovalon/Ability as a clearinghouse
- Ability to upload claims to Forward Health and MINITS when applicable
- Knowledge of Medicaid forms for admission, payer change, and status change in Wisconsin and/or Minnesota
- Ability to post cash in PCC
- PCC Trust experience
- Strong Excel skills for running reports and sorting items
- Familiarity with managed Medicaid portals
- Ability to answer an application question confirming at least 2 years of Wisconsin skilled nursing billing experience
