In this position, you will review and process medical claims, assist with accounts receivable follow-up, work with providers to resolve billing issues, and help maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical billing and coding, with proficiency in ICD-10 systems
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare reimbursement processes
- Familiarity with medical collection procedures and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and also independently
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and electronic health records (EHR) preferred
