Bayview Physicians Group is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller / Payor Account Representative for its growing outpatient multi-specialty medical group serving the Hampton Roads area. The role focuses on supporting billing operations, working claims, and assisting patients and staff in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include:

Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims
Resolve unpaid, denied, or rejected claims
File appeals and process refunds when appropriate
Assist patients with billing and insurance questions
Maintain knowledge of insurance policies and billing procedures
Work claim edits, validations, and clearinghouse issues
Maintain confidentiality and compliance standards
Support team workflow and complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

Medical billing certification or minimum 1 year of healthcare experience.

Additional qualifications:

Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment
Knowledge of eCW EMR is a plus, but training is available
