Pain Specialists of America (PSA) is a Texas-based, multisite comprehensive pain management company with over 15 locations. The organization is seeking an experienced Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist to support professional claims for pain management and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)/institutional claims. This role is responsible for claims follow-up, payment posting, denial resolution, AR reconciliation, and collaboration with clinical and coding teams to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance accounts receivable, specifically with pain management and ASC claims
- Strong knowledge of professional billing processes
- Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Experience working with Medicare, commercial insurance, and workers' compensation payers
- Proficiency in medical billing software such as eClinicalWorks, HST, Waystar, and Trizetto preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to interpret data reports
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
