Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working in a medical billing office
- Experience preparing and transmitting medical insurance claims
- Experience with Medicaid billing
- Experience with Medicare Parts A and B
- Experience with private pay billing
- Ability to read and understand insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Experience posting payments
- Strong attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ICD-10 experience preferred
- Medical billing experience preferred
