Busy interventional cardiology practice seeking an experienced, dependable Medical Biller to manage the billing cycle with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include charge posting, claim submission, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, denial management, appeals, claim correction and resubmission, insurance eligibility verification, claims review, claim status follow-up, billing issue resolution, patient account documentation, and assisting with patient billing questions and balances.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience in a physician or medical office
- Cardiology or interventional cardiology billing experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, insurance claims, denials, appeals, and A/R follow-up
- Experience with EMR
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of insurance eligibility and benefit verification
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize a busy workload
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Dependable and team oriented
- Spanish speaking preferred

- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
