North Star Sleep Solutions in Mesa, AZ is hiring an experienced Medical Insurance Billing Specialist to join its growing team.
This is a part-time, in-person position with a flexible schedule that starts at approximately one day per week, with the opportunity to increase hours as the practice expands.
The role focuses on managing medical billing claims from submission through resolution, with responsibility for follow-up, documentation, and issue resolution with minimal supervision.
A minimum of 2 years of medical insurance billing experience is required.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in a physician office or medical office
- Familiarity with Medicare, AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid), and commercial insurance plans
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and remain dependable and self-directed
Preferred experience, but not required:
- Sleep medicine
- Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing
- Dental sleep medicine
