Requirements & Qualifications
Required experience
- Previous medical A/R or medical billing experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent medical insurance A/R experience within the last 3 years
- 2 years of experience investigating medical insurance A/R issues
- 2 years of experience reviewing payer policies
- 2 years of experience drafting medical insurance denial appeal letters
- 2 years of experience as an Insurance A/R Specialist
Skills and qualifications
- Ability to investigate claims without a script
- Comfortable reviewing payer policy and drafting appeal letters
- Dependable team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with patients and co-workers
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Able to commute to Alpharetta, GA for onsite training and scheduled in-office days
