Family Home Health Network, an Affiliate of the Alden Network, provides intermittent home health care, palliative care, hospice care, and skilled/custodial private care services throughout the Chicagoland area.
This role is responsible for managing hospice billing activities, including claim submission, payer follow-up, reimbursement support, and compliance with Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance requirements. The position is hybrid, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The role supports financial operations by maintaining accurate billing records, coordinating with clinical and administrative teams, and resolving claim issues to help ensure timely reimbursement.
1+ years of experience in medical billing.
Must have home health billing experience.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial billing and recovery rules/guidelines.
Understanding of HIPAA and compliance-related requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to problem-solve independently and work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Home Care Home Base experience is a plus.
