We’re seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to support a fast-paced third-party billing company. This role focuses on accurate and efficient medical billing, claim submission, and follow-up in a supportive environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include preparing and submitting claims, verifying patient and insurance information, managing unpaid claims, maintaining billing records, collaborating with providers to resolve discrepancies, staying current on billing regulations, and assisting with medical records compliance.

Requirements & Qualifications

2 years of medical billing experience required
Proficiency in medical terminology and medical collections processes
Experience with medical billing software and systems
Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG coding methodologies
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation standards
Strong problem-solving skills
Medicaid knowledge is a plus
