TruVista Surgery Center is a modern ambulatory surgery center in Troy, Michigan specializing in ophthalmic procedures, including cataract, glaucoma, and oculoplastic surgeries.
This role is responsible for revenue cycle and medical billing functions for procedures performed within the facility. Duties include assigning procedure and diagnosis codes, creating billing statements, posting payments and adjustments, processing refunds, reviewing accounts, resolving claim issues, and supporting general business office operations as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; professional training preferred
- Experience submitting billings for healthcare services preferred
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT billing codes preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory standards
- Proficiency with MS Office and practice management software
- Ophthalmology billing knowledge preferred
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organization, prioritization, and customer service skills
- Ability to work well with staff, physicians, vendors, and peers
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance
